Regular Washing:

• Organic cotton is more delicate than conventional cotton and can shrink if washed in hot water. Always wash your organic cotton products in cold water to preserve their quality and colour.
  
  
• When washing your organic cotton bedding and bath essentials, use a gentle, plant-based detergent. Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners as they can damage the fibres and reduce the life of your sheets & towels.

• Wash dark and light-coloured items separately to prevent colour bleeding.
  

• To ensure thorough cleaning and prevent excessive wear, avoid overloading your washing machine.

Stains:

• Treat stains promptly with a natural stain remover or creating a solution of vinegar and laundry detergent. Apply this mixture to the stain, allowing it to sit for a minimum of 30 minutes before proceeding with laundering.
  

• Avoid using bleach, as it can damage the organic fibres and harm the environment.

Drying:

• Preferably line dry your bedding & bath essentials to maintain its integrity. Sunlight can act as a natural disinfectant and brighten the colours.
  
  
• If using a dryer, use a low heat setting to prevent shrinkage. Remove the items promptly to avoid over-drying as it can cause them to become stiff and lose their softness.

Ironing:

• Your bedsheets or quilt covers may exhibit some wrinkles. You have the option to embrace their natural, slightly wrinkled appearance or, if preferred, iron them on a low heat setting when the fabric is slightly damp.

Storage:

• Store your bedding & bath essentials in a cool, dry & well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight to prevent musty odours, and fabric discoloration.
  

Refresh:

• If your organic cotton towels or sheets start to lose their softness, try adding a cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle when washing. This will help remove any detergent buildup and restore their natural softness.
